Exploring the North Island
New Zealand’s North Island is a treasure trove of natural wonders and cultural experiences. From the bustling cityscape of Auckland to the geothermal wonders of Rotorua, every corner of the island promises adventure and discovery.
We explored Auckland, went to the police station to deal with a lost passport. The cops were so friendly! I went down the hobbiton and enjoyed acting big.
The highlight was the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. They took us through a dark cave in a boat and bioluminescent worms were above us giving an LED effect, gorgeous! The drives all around the North Island was easy and serene. We went to Rotorua to see hot springs and enjoyed maori culture. We ended our north island tour in Wellington and took a flight from there to Queenstown.

Queenstown and South Island
South Island was STUNNING! we flew to charming Queenstown, did a bunch of amazing hikes all around the area. The stay in Cadrona hotel in Cadrona was a great experience , staying in a charming hotel, with excellent food. The Milford sound cruise was certainly the highlight of our south island adventure
